    President Donald Trump on Wednesday said he is "totally opposed" to domestic violence after facing widespread criticism for praising his former top aide, Rob Porter, following Porter's resignation last week amid accusations of domestic abuse.

    "I am totally opposed to domestic violence of any kind," Trump said on Wednesday in the Oval Office. "Everyone knows that and it almost wouldn't even have to be said. So now you hear it. But you all know it."
